The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to a teenager 11-14years of age Bernadette in a small town located in the foothills of the mountains of southern France. The spring was discovered by St. Bernadette during one of the apparitions, in 1858. Bernadette was told to by Our Lady “go drink at the spring and wash yourself there”

Another French nun, Sister Bernadette, who went on a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in 2008. She had been suffering from spinal complications which had rendered her wheelchair-bound and fully disabled since 1980.

The spring waters have been studied by scientists several times to uncover any special properties or elements that may have contributed to its healing power.
The secret ingredient, in this case, is not science would explain but faith! Faith is the secret ingredient.
